About WCMIC
West Central Mutual Insurance Company located in Whitehall, Wisconsin, is a member owned organization that consists of the parent corporation, West Central Mutual Insurance Company (WCMIC) and one wholly owned subsidiary, West Central Insurance Services, Inc. (WCIS). West Central Mutual was organized in 1871 and operates in a ten county area of western Wisconsin. As of December 31, 2006, WCMIC has admitted assets of approximately $2,201,724 and policyholder surplus of $1,780,456. WCMIC offers a full line of property and casualty insurance products to its clients through both independent and captive agents.
West Central Insurance Services, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary agency, was organized in 1995 and is used as an outlet for the parent company to sell business lines that are not currently offered through WCMIC or directly by them. WCIS is licensed with several insurance companies to provide property and casualty as well as specialty coverage.
